Just as an open window allows fresh air to flow in, this festival encourages an open and inclusive spirit where the beauty of tango can move freely. It symbolizes our dedication to keeping the “windows” of creativity, cultural exchange, and the continuous evolution of this captivating dance wide open.

Since its first year, La Ventana Tango Festival has made it its mission to offer its participants a unique tango experience. One of the most important elements of our festival is our seminars and workshops that delve deeper into Argentine Tango and bring new dimensions in terms of technique, communication and mentality.

In 2026, La Ventana aims to provide an even deeper, more comprehensive, and more holistic learning experience by offering all classes exclusively in Seminar format. This year, a significant part of the program will feature DUO SEMINARS, in which two couples of teachers will lead the session together. Each seminar will last 2 hours, filled with fresh perspectives, enriching ideas, and new “windows” we will open together.

More Seminars, Only Seminars!

Since its very first year, La Ventana has aimed to offer ideas that open new “windows” in the minds of its participants and to build a strong, inspiring vision in its classes. While our 2024 program consisted of 22 workshops and 2 seminars, in 2025 we reshaped the structure based on your feedback and offered 9 seminars and 5 workshops.

In 2026, our entire class structure will fully transition into the Seminar format. Each seminar, lasting 2 hours, will allow selected topics to be explored in a more comprehensive, balanced, and holistic way. This year, for the first time, some seminars will be given as special DUO SEMINARS, taught by two couples together giving participants the chance to experience multiple perspectives simultaneously.

Follower / Leader Technique Seminars

In 2026, we’re adding yet another brand-new format to La Ventana: Follower and Leader Technique Seminars. In these special sessions, held separately for each role, every maestro/a will take a 20-minute segment under a shared technical theme.

These 2-hour seminars will approach technique from six different viewpoints, offering both depth and variety.

Practice with the Maestros

In La Ventana 2025, our participants were introduced to a special practice session with our entire team. They first joined a Q&A session where they explored ideas and thoughts about tango with the maestros, and afterward practiced with all instructors, working on a simple combination from each one.

We loved this idea and it seems you loved it too! Thanks to the great enthusiasm and high satisfaction you showed last year, and the requests we received from many of you, we are now splitting the practice into two parts!

This year it will consist of two 1.5-hour sessions: First, a Q&A! this time including our DJs as well! Then, a full practice session with all our instructors.

A small reminder: Just like last year, these sessions will be open to participants who are registered for at least two seminars. 😊
